CCG Team Attends Ashtons Brain Injury Case Management Conference

One of our CCG’s team members recently attended Ashtons Brain Injury Case Management Conference on well-being for case managers. The conference focused on the importance of self-care when caring for others and how it can reflect the quality of the provider’s service.

During the conference, attendees had the opportunity to hear insights from industry professionals who understand the significance of avoiding the pitfalls of being selfless.

New Insights for Case Managers

Bev Palmer, a Senior Associate Behaviour Specialist at Bush & Co., spoke at the conference about the importance of self-care for case managers. Attendees learned new strategies to manage stress, build resilience, and care for their mental health while caring for others. We believe this is a crucial topic, especially as a house of brands dedicated to prioritising our clinicians’ well-being.

Additionally, Dr David Lee, a Chartered Psychologist and Chartered Scientist from Sleep Unlimited Ltd, gave new insights into the significance of sleep and how it can influence the quality of case managers’ work. The attendees left the presentation with new valuable knowledge on how proper sleep hygiene can improve their health and focus and enhance their performance.

Lastly, attendees had the opportunity to hear first-hand about significant updates in Family Law from Jo Cotgove from Ashtons Legal.

Moving Forward With Better Knowledge

It’s always a pleasure to get together with other professionals from the industry who share our values.

The conference was highly beneficial for the quality of Catalyst Care Group’s services. We’re always committed to delivering the best for the people we support. Attending these conferences provides us with the additional skills to do just that.

We would like to express our gratitude towards Ashtons Legal for another successful and insightful conference and for genuinely inspiring us to provide better care to the people we support.
