I’m Louise Bray, Head of the Continuous Improvement Team, driven by a commitment to creating meaningful change in people’s lives.
My diverse role spans quality and governance, safeguarding and therapies, as well as being the Nominated Individual for Leaf Complex Care and a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
I have worked in the care sector since I was 14, with my passion for supporting people deeply rooted in my childhood experiences. A beloved family member struggled with mental health throughout their life, often needing additional support and being sectioned under the Mental Health Act. Seeing them isolated and alone in the hospital was deeply distressing. Their experience fueled my determination to ensure others receive the right specialist support at home, where creative thinking and positive risk-taking can make a difference. I often reflect and ask, What more can we do?
I joined Catalyst Care Group in 2022, and I feel immensely grateful for being a part of a team so deeply committed to providing the best support possible to people who need it the most.
Being hands-on during my early years in care was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I’m deeply grateful to the people I had the privilege to support, as each one taught me invaluable lessons. Today, I’m fortunate to draw on that experience to influence the quality of care we provide and help shape the direction of the organization. Some of my favorite moments are spent visiting the people we support, our remarkable clinicians, and their families, always asking, What more can we do to improve?
I have a deep love for people and a genuine need to help. I believe everyone deserves the very best in life and to be treated with kindness and respect, regardless of disability, diagnosis, or label. We are all equals, and that’s something I hold close to my heart.
