Darren Moyle

PBS Lead Practitioner

I am Darren Moyle, and I have over 30 years of experience working in support and education services for people with learning disabilities.

I have considerable experience in working with and supporting autistic and neurodiverse adults and children, learning disability, behaviours of concern and complex emotional trauma.

For over 18 years I have practiced as a PBS Practitioner. 

As a person, I am an avid advocate of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), valuing people and providing high-quality person-centred care and support for all.

Qualifications

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Positive Approaches to Challenging Behaviour (Cardiff University)
  • Qualified Learning Disability Nurse
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Positive Approaches for that Challenge
  • Instructor in Positive Behaviour
  • PROACT-SCIPr-UK® Instructor
  • Experienced PBS practitioner and trainer
