Catalyst Care Group’s Transforming Care Director, Ashleigh Fox, Joins Social Care Nurse Advisory Council

Catalyst Care Group is proud to announce that Ashleigh Fox, our Transforming Care Director, has been appointed to the Social Care Nurse Advisory Council (SCNAC). This esteemed council, established by Professor Deborah Sturdy (Chief Social Care Nurse) and led through The Outstanding Society, brings together leading professionals dedicated to enhancing the profile of social care across the UK.

In her voluntary role on the SCNAC, Ashleigh will contribute her extensive expertise in learning disabilities (LD) nursing and transformation, ensuring that the voices of those delivering and receiving care are at the forefront of decision-making processes, whilst elevating the profile of social care nursing.

Ashleigh’s appointment underscores Catalyst Care Group’s commitment to influencing positive change within the social care sector. By aligning with SCNAC’s goals, we continue to support initiatives that prioritise the professionalisation of care workers and the advancement of best practice in the sector.

Ashleigh said, “I am honoured to join the Social Care Nurse Advisory Council and collaborate with other leaders to drive meaningful reforms in social care. This role complements my work at Catalyst Care Group, where we strive to deliver outstanding care services and transform lives.”

SW SCNAC is starting to work on national and regional priorities including education and training and workforce planning and development. We have also started to build a project repository showcasing projects undertaken by or with Adult Social Care Providers that can be shared regionally and nationally  SCNAC South West Region – The Outstanding Society
