Benjamin Andrew

PBS Coach and Multimedia Specialist

My person-centred philosophy drives my passion to bring care into the 21st century. I have strived to develop exemplary skills in understanding people with complex needs and adopting a supportive leadership style to meet people’s individual needs.

I previously managed a residential home that achieved an ‘Outstanding’ rating in three of the five key lines of inquiry.

I have 16 years of experience in the Health & Social Care sector, specialising in adults with learning disabilities.

I obtained my Level 5 in Health & Social Care in 2018, and my legislative knowledge is sound. My broad knowledge and experience include supporting autistic people and people with behaviours that challenge, mental health issues, trauma, hearing impairment, and physical disabilities.

I am enthusiastic about my work with a strong commitment to person-centred values. My experience in different care settings (supported living, residential, and classroom-based) has made me adaptable, creative, and focused on providing meaningful support that facilitates people to lead fulfilling and independent lives.

I use technology, multimedia, and assistive technology to empower people, giving them greater independence. I have broad experience in all Microsoft IT packages.
